Clegg welcomed as new leader

Following the announcement that Nick Clegg had won the Liberal Democrat Leadership battle, Paula Southwood , Liberal Democrat Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Wirral South said,

“I am glad to see that we have a new leader in place. The leadership race has been a time for us to consider our own views as a party. Now that the leader is in place it is time for us to move forward and get our policies across to the country.
